A new website and welcome to my FIRST blog!

My First blog; Following months of planning, testing, rewriting, and retesting, today we are excited to finally announce the launch of our new and (we hope you’ll agree) improved website!

The primary purpose of creating our new website is to give our current and future customers a better online experience. We felt this was necessary as our “old” website had launched in 2008, and techniques have changed hugely in that period of time.

Our new website features detailed help pop-ups, explainer videos, and photo samples. It has a FAQ section at the bottom of each web page to clarify any of your lingering questions. It is user-friendly, responsive on all devices, and accessible to all audiences.

On top of that, we can now interact with our customers through our new blog and social media interaction.

Over the years, we’ve had so many orders with unique stories that deeply touched my heart. I often mentioned that I should write a book about our mirrors because there are many compelling and emotional stories to tell.

However, before I do, let me start this first blog post with a proper introduction.

My name is Debbie; born in the UK, the daughter of a Dutch dad & English mom, and I moved to The Netherlands when I was two years old. Where I still live in a small town called Monnickendam. The next picture shows me (left) and my big-sis Caroline in traditional Dutch costumes. The picture was taken within the first few weeks of coming to Holland.

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, WJ (who invented our Laser Engraved Mirrors).

Proud mom of 3 handsome sons & 4 beautiful daughters-in-law. A blessed grandma to Skye James, Liv Saree, Alfie Blue & Indy Rae, and a “pet-mom” to our fur-baby Maggie.

I love my family & friends, hiking, healthy food, exploring new places, love cruising, and the USA. It is my passion to make people happy and more emotionally connected.

I genuinely believe that due to our unique mirrors, we make a difference in our customers’ lives.

That passion thrives us here at Mirror Engraving to deliver you a product that will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart.

I hope this blog will be a resource for finding that one unique gift or finding a keepsake for all things that make life worth living. Besides that, I will cover various topics like weddings and anniversaries, precious moments like birth, holidays, graduations, and the loss of a loved one.
